    Hey guys,
Im new to this site and VW as a brand. Today I just bought a 2012 VW GLI Autobahn with 6spd manual and Navi. I used to drive an e46 330xi BMW and it had none of the great technology this car has plus this ride is far more comfortable. I figured Id post a few pictures on here, what are some good accessories to add that won't void the cars warranty?

    and the old beemer

    NICE!!!

I'd lower and beef up the swat bars, make it work like it should.

Welcome! Awesome car, what kind of accessories were you thinking of? I wouldn't go to over the top (personally) ...it's a beautiful work of master craftsmanship, with a lot of time and effort put into it to meet the needs of its owners. It was built to last!

    again, welcome and have fun!

I really don't have any specific accessories in mind, I may throw some 15% window tints on cause it'll look good with the black rims and the black piece between windows. Around how much is it to lower the car, cause I have noticed the ride height is a bit high.

Have you had any time to play with the rev matching during downshifts? If so, what do you think of it?

Actually I haven't been able to yet, since the car still has 200 miles on it Im trying to give it a break in period with some city driving, lower RPM acceleration and a few other techniques I read online. Once its past 600 miles though I will definitely start doing some fun driving and ill try it out. But when I downshift regularly right now there is not much of a jolt at all and the exhaust note is awesome, if that helps at all
