Well that was short lived.
Two months and two days after I bought it, the corrado already found its demise.
I had it on jack stands with a trans jack under it as I was pulling the trans, the car was behind my parents house. I went over there today and this is what I found:
I'm pretty heartbroken right now, I didn't even get a chance to have fun with it. I doubt I'll get as much as I've put into it from insurance.
Looking for a new corrado/scirocco in the ohio area.

that's a ****ty deal man, was happy to see someone still using the g-ladder....tough break
find another one and swap all the good parts over and start again, hopefully insurance pays out well

This was a great thread. You were picking up Corrado repair incredibly quickly. Rebuilding a G60 s/c on a first try? Impressive. Hope your next car is another G60. I'd love to see a finished project.

As fellow 90 Tornado Red owner, I was following your thread as well to see the end result and to also commend you on digging into a g-ladder rebuild and getting it right!
Im really sorry to see and read about this. See if the insurance company will let you keep the car as part of your settlement, if you havent settled this yet??
