I once saw Pablo Francisco. The videos on YouTube of his shows in the States are much better than his live act was here. I felt ripped off, the guy didn't seem to connect with the crowd at all, he just ran thru his usual set. He also didn't pay attention on enunciation anymore, so I almost couldn't understand what he mumbled. His warm-up act Flip Schultz was much better.

Louis CK (easily my favorite)
Patton Oswalt (also excellent)
Daniel Tosh (can't STAND his show, but his standup is pretty decent if you can cope with his voice)
Eddie Izzard (if you like British standup and don't mind that he's an "executive transvestite"...he's excellent)

Anything Norm Macdonald. Especially his interviews, like on on Conan where he made fun of the other guests or when he was on the View and was hitting on some of the hosts.
I haven't been able to find the video but 8 or so months after he was canned from SNL they brought him back to host the show. He basically ripped on the show and Lorne Michels the entire time. Dude has balls.

Kevin Hart, he also has some raps![]()

I absolutely love standup comedy. to the point where I will laugh so hard I'll be crying laughing, which then causes my wife to laugh at me. it's a vicious circle.

I'm a big fan of stand up, I've heard of all the posted ones. I think one recent comedian that seems to be forgotten is Gerry Dee.

I prefer sit-down drama.

Larry Miller is a favorite of mine.
And if you ever have the chance, listen to the old routines of Buddy Hackett, Bob Newhart, Don Rickles - you'd be suprised how funny they are.

I've been a fan of Jeremy Hotz since I saw a comedy central bit probably 10 years ago
