i saw a post a while back with some one who was good with what sway bars to run with a vr6 swap. Also good with coil over sring rates and what not. Any help would be great. Trying to figure out what sway bar i should run. Dont want over steer but i need something up front.

i am a little nutty. There was a suspension guru who helped some one figure out what size sway bar to run with out creating tons of over/under steer. cant find the post. hope someone can help

if you are a VR6 up front in a mk2 then no front sway.

Sway bars are effective, but not nearly effective enough to justify purchasing a nutsert tool and nutserts as well as the sway bar itself.

I doubt you would even feel any difference unless you were racing it, or fun driving up some mountains.

my mk2 is on h&r coilovers and a 28mm h&r rear sway bar and it makes a huge difference, like no more torque steer even in the rain. if you're going to try it, try finding one that's adjustable so you can adjust the stiffness
i don't know anything about vr6s but if you're running a sway bar in the front you'll need mk1 sway bar mounts unless you have preexisting mounts
bigger sways in the back and smaller up front is usually better for less understeer/oversteer but it's really just personal preference

If there is an easier way to properly install a strut bar on an mk2 without the use of nut inserts please let me know.

again...WAT? who said anything about strut bars? there is no such thing as a swaybar for a MkII that uses nutserts.

and, there's a bunch of strut bars that don't use nutserts as well.

Replace your bushings, and install a strut bar. Get a better / stiffer suspension. Sway bars are the last piece of the puzzle when determining a suspension.
