I am going to attempt to install my custom boost and EGT gauge and i was wondering where and if anyone has tapped for a boost gauge on the 2.0TDI motor? I have a feeling I might be the first for the Passat.

Are you sure? TDI is not like a gas motor because it doesn't have a vaccum yes that was a shock to me. I am still looking around. Have you install a boost gauge on a TDI?

You want to tap into something hard... like the intake itself or one of the plastic pieces. There is a hard plastic elbo at the bottom of the engine by by the intercooler that I would probably tap.
Looking in VCDS mine runs about 22 PSI
