Accessory wire? Does anyone know where there is an accessory wire on the Passat?

I am about to install a custom gauge and I need to find an accessory wire to power it. I know I can't use the clock or light wire from the center clock because that is powered all the time. I guess I could tap the cig lighter but I was wondering if anywhere else I could get a better source of power without tearing apart all my dash.

So today I was like oh I got it just look at the fuses in the fuses box....except I have no clue what fuse does what :-(

They cheaped us out on a fuse diagram...

Ok so real easy, go to advance auto and purchase a Pico 0956pt Mini Fused Circuit 16 Awg 10a
( http://amzn.com/B001QRSBW0 ) This would replace a fuse and provide 2 fuse slots. So the Cigarette lighter works off you key :-) The fuse for the cigarette lighter is a 30amp fuse located at the bottom of the fuse box inbetween the driver door and the dash. I will provide pictures in the next day or 2 :-)

I actually saw this when i was looking for a solution, but that involves going to the deal and while don't get me wrong, it is nice, I am lazy.... my solution worked perfectly for what I needed.
