    I thought oil was every 10k, not 5k as on that link.

    ^^^ exactly,, oil change every 5K?? im following standard 10K schedule

    im following my VW manual ,, nothing more / nothing less

    I can confirm that the schedule in my owner's manual states every 10k for the oil.
