Thread: Quick cam timing question...

    If the lower cover wasn't touched, its not possible to be off 1/2 tooth, correct? The timing mark on my flywheel and the cams aren't lining up 100% perfect, just a smidge off.

    From what I've seen, they very rarely line up perfectly. Consider the inherent slack/lash.

    Just make sure that all your chain slack is on the tensioner/slack-adjuster side.

    This. If the cam needs a touch just to get the plate in, you're good.
