Short answer: There is no baffle. Long answer: The only place I liked my catch can was located below that vent so oil would have been an issue. The chain kicks up alot. If the catch can was located even with the vent or there was baffling in the hose then there wouldn't be an issue. Or a baffle could be welded inside.
