For the Golf it is either 5K0 853 671 RYP, or again they have the moulding as 5K0 853 101 2ZZ.

according to our Ecatalog those arent for the MK6 jetta sportwagen, i do know they will fit because we just put a set on a new jetta today!

no one really has it right when it comes to what parts fit onto/are for our cars. Things have gotten better over the last couple of years, but I still tend to not trust any database.. I've seen ETKA and the Bentley manual be wrong as well

So have I...ETKA with my VIN showed that I had the newer larger rear brakes on my car...went to do the install only to find out the pads don't fit into the caliper...turns out I have the older smaller rear brakes.

Remember the parts that "fit" according to VW have to be approved by VW. For this to happen there is a very long process to make sure that the item is safe, has proper fitments, meets DOT standards, meets crash test standards, is intended for the market its in, and a bunch of other things. So many time retro fits performed by people on vortex are possible, but VW cant legally stand behind it because it has not gone through this process. Hope this help clear things up.

I understand completely.. but Code3VW and I are talking about replacing OEM parts that came on our wagons. For example.. it took about two years for me to start seeing web sites and catalogs list the correct brake sizes for the TDI and SEL SportWagens. Many still get it wrong. Obviously there are less mistakes in ETKA and in the Bentley manual.. but if you know the cars well it's still pretty easy to find mistakes.
