    stock 96 t-red gti 2.0 with 77730 miles on the entire car with maintainece records in the book. Also have raceland ultimos for but but not installed.

    if its burning excessive amounts of oil it might of cracked the block, you might wanna check that its not a cheap fix or even replacement

    At least check to see if it's something that can be fixed easily. I don't wanna drop money on something then find out it's going to cost me more than I paid to fix it...

    If its burning alot of oil and blowing alot of smoke it probably has a head issue. Valve seals maybe. But **** check compression maybe rings are bad however thats uncommon in a vr6. GLws

    well i just got around to checking the compression this weekend and all the cylinders had good compression(between 160 and 180) BUT cylinder 6 had around 50
