Thread: temp gauge and gas gauge not working

  1. 05-01-2012 09:17 PM #1
Last night I was run off the road by someone coming at me in my line (2 lane highway) and broke my dogbone mount, which to me is no big deal, but now the two mentioned gauges arent working. Any help is appreciated.

Will do, makes sense considering how hard the dogbone mount got hit, looking for pictures of this now, I've never looked at it. Any ideas on the temp gauge? I've already replaced the sensor

Look on the back side of the tranny where the diff is.

Does the same apply if it's an automatic? Should I be looking through the bay or from under the car?

You can reach it from over and behind the engine, or put it up on ramps and get under the car.

Still can't find a single thing plugged into the tranny, I'll get another person to come look.

Check your fuses. You never know.

Just checked, they seem fine, ALTHOUGH for some reason there are 2 fuses with wires on them, I'm guessing from the PO
