    Got this last year.

    Nice and nimble.

Brakes are pretty good for me though.

    Green BMW is green.

Teal. I just hate the color...

It looks like an unkempt pool.

    Needed paint badly.

    BMW Space Grey Metallic.

    Nason-Dupont bc/cc

The front fender and both side covers are painted black.

I think if I had a R65 I would either have to have a sidecar rig, or turn it into a early GS!

I hate you, because I want your bike and I don't have it. I actually love that color.

    <-- in love with R65s....

    New vietnamese ebay special seat.

    Crap.

The foam was made up of packaging foam. Rock hard. Ouch for my butt.

Cheapest vinyl ever. Tore at the edge while trying to install.

I ended up reshaping and reusing the original seat with the ebay vinyl crappy cover...

And the bike is back on the road for now.

The paint looks great. The bike runs great. The weather is great.

Awesome Marc! I too have a friend with an R65 and it seems to keep up with the rest of us just fine.

Nice looking R65 you got there, I like the grey a lot.

I picked up a red R65 about a month ago and put some clip-ons and bought a seat....from the same seller as you. I haven't received the seat yet but I am already expecting garbage.
I just hope it lasts the season so I can get a proper one custom made.

It looks like I'll be spending my money elsewhere for now, specifically the transmission & driveshaft area because some bearing STB and is loud as hell.

Check out bmwr65.org if you haven't found it yet. I'm getting great info and suggestions as to my bearing whine issues from the guys on there.
