**1987 16v Scirocco For Sale. Asking $2400 OBO. Toledo, OH area

Selling my 1987 Scirocco 16V. $2400 OBO 167K Miles. 89 octane at all times. Oil changed every 6000 miles. Got into minor accident, left side fender and hood need to be replaced. Perfect project car, easily restorable into show-car shape again. I just lack the funds right now to do that. Was show-car before accident. Second Owner. Was daily driver for a while. Need to sell ASAP. Original Black Paint, with little rust and body damage other than ride side fender and grill.

Cons:
-Left Side Fender, and Hood Need to be completely replaced.
-Parking Break and drivers side window need tampering with. (Fixing these as we speak).
-Driver Side Seat needs reupholstered. -Little warn on edges of seat
-Some small body detail work needs to be done (chips, little rust spots, etc)-ORIGINAL PAINT

Pros:
-Upholstery is prestige except driver seat needs re-done.
-Leather bucket Seats. 200$ in upholstery repair and good carpet cleaning could have interior looking right out of Karmann.
-Strong Motor, Re-built and new parts range from re-built head gasket, to new fuel pump. (PITA to find and install)..TONS MORE. (too many to list, require about them.)
-$3000 worth of engine repairs, upgrades, maintenance. (Have receipts). All Engine repairs done only by a TRUSTED Old German mechanic.
-New Racing Muffler 145K miles.
-Timing Belt replaced 145K miles.
-New shocks, springs, bushings at 114K miles. (Ajustable shocks to lower the back end from inside car)
-MoMo RACE steering Wheel, MoMo shift Knob.
-New clutch and gears synched also at 114K miles.
-Neuspeed Front sway Bar.
-Comes with two sets of tires. First Set is (4) Toyo Street Racing Tires on G-Racing Rims. Rear Left and Back Right tire replaced last summer, front have 80% tread remaining. Second set is (4) Michelin All-Purpose Tire (Winter and Spring Tire) on original Hubs.

Well over $5000 dollars worth of upgrades and repairs. Sad it got into an accident, would be Show-car ready now. Have original steering wheel and radio, and also the Huge Owners Manual Book that came with the car. Had it in a photoshoot before accident. Great car for project or driver. Is the car driveable in it's current state? Do you have any photos of the car the way it sits right now?

It is 100% drivable. The motor, and fuel system has almost been completely replaced and re-done. The only problems are body damage and the window and parking brake. Right now I've currently located a new hood and am fixing the parking break and window. Therefore once thats done, the only thing that would need attention is small detailing and the left-side fender. PM your number or email and I'll send you current pictures.
