Im In need of new tires on my mk1. I currently Have a minimal stretch going on.
Im running a 195/45/15 on a 15x8 wheel. What tire will give me a better stretch?

The challenge with going much narrower than a 195/45 on an 8" wheel is not only the stretch but also the load rating associated with the tire. There are places to find 165 width tires that will accomplish what you want to but in my opinion the potential liability of running a tire of that size on a Rabbit is just not worth it.![]()

Edit: didnt realize it was on a 15" wheel. Stretching wheels takes me back to dem cholo days.
