Ive got the same issue with on/off throttle. Boots are good but I hear the joints can go bad anyways internally. Going to try to get down to my buddys shop and get in on a lift to look. Along with the shuddering under acceleration i might be buy new shafts this weekend

if it "clicks" then id lean towards axle! if it "clunks" then id say ball joint/suspension related issue!
