Thread: Click in drivers front drive train??????

    I need some help. What could be causing a click sound coming from the front drivers side. I have a 2002 1.8T sedan. Drive shaft???? Thanks in advance

    It could be that but chances are that one of your control arms might need to be replaced soon.

    Ive got the same issue with on/off throttle. Boots are good but I hear the joints can go bad anyways internally. Going to try to get down to my buddys shop and get in on a lift to look. Along with the shuddering under acceleration i might be buy new shafts this weekend

    I had my control arms replaced.

    if it "clicks" then id lean towards axle! if it "clunks" then id say ball joint/suspension related issue!
    FMIC, Forge Hybrid splitter BOV, Motegi 17x7's in Pirelli p6, Eibach pro kit w/ sway bar, Kinetic slotted & drilled rotors, custom short throw, Glow Shift boost gauge w/ NSP steering column pod!

    there are plenty of threads on diy on axle replacement! just search and youll def find one!
