Thanks for posting. It's a great video- especially nice to see the 1st Gen A3 in old-school Burnt Gold livery. I suspect the motivation for it is to silence people (like me) who've complained that the new MQB A3 didn't change enough.
What is at stake is all three of the major German brands have begun focusing on their lower tier of models with upper tier technology and engineering debuting in the next one to two years. Merc's new baby CLS, the second-gen BMW 1-er (that according to George Kacher) will be designated a 2-Series in coupe and convertible form. Plus the new A3.
It's a great time for people like myself who love small-sporty German cars.
