I have an 2004.5 GLI and just recently installed coilovers.

    Replaced and done list:
    Replaced strut mounts
    Replaced control arm bushings
    4 Wheel alignment
    4 Wheel balanced
    Sway Bar cut out

And I still get a vibration at about 80km/h .... any thoughts?

Is the vibration with the car in gear or out of gear? This will isolate drive train from suspension.

Also check the tires for irregular wear patterns.

That's what it was... unreal. Thanks for the input. I rotated the wheels and no more violent vibrations.

No problem! I was lazy rotating mine and now the tires are hammered. There are very little things more annoying than driving vibrations. Now I'm stuck with them until I buy new tires...
