    Mk4 BBW Cylinder and Piston Diameter

    I'm trying to find the diameter of both the pistons and cylinder bore for a mk4 BBW engine block. Looked in the Bentley manual and they don't have the measurements for the BBW engine code. Searched online and only found measurements that were rounded up. Any help is appreciated.

    According to service information, BBW has an 82.5mm bore. So, same as AVH/AZG/AEG/BEV, which is probably why the Bentley doesn't list them.

    I think the only thing that makes BBW different is the valvetrain configuration, exhaust system, and engine management to meet SULEV standards.
