    I just picked up my car last weekend. I completely love my car. I still can't believe that it is mine when I look at it. The only problem so far is the RNSE. I can't figure out how to search for a particular artist. I have a lot of music on my ipod. I want to listen to RUSH but I have to scroll through hundreds of other artists to get to it. There must be an easier way. Any suggestions?

    I don't know of a better way, either. I've used smart playlists to circumvent this limitation in the past.

    I asked this question of my buddy at Audi - basically there is no quick way to search for an artist, a song title, whatever. You'd think a $$$ car would have a better interface than my VW!

    unfortunately it's 2007 technology, I'd grab an aftermarket deck and keep the old one for resale of vehicle in at a much later date...

    there's lots of voice activated sat nav out there in the aftermarket that will still utilize the steering column controls.

    It's a very special car that will be a classic. unfortunately, Audi 's handling of the interior ( Canadian cars/ lack of Euro recaros), over charging of the sport exhaust, and pricing/ tech level of the OEM satnav is dissapointing.

    Can you expand on this? What are "smart playlists"?

    Smart playlists are playlists in iTunes that allow you to set certain criteria to establish a playlist that automatically updates if you add something to your library that meets the criteria for the playlist.

    An example of criteria might be:

    Genre = Rock
    Year = Between 1980 and 1989

    Hope this helps.
