    Oil usage Volkswagen GTI 2007

    Is it normal for a 2.0 liter turbo in a 2007 GTI to use a liter of every 3000 km when it has only 90000kms on the engine?

    Yup, The FSI burns oil. I'd top it off every 1000 kms. I was also uninformed by my dealer. I now keep at least 2 new bottles in my trunk to top off between oil changes.

    i got a 07 audi a3 (same engine) and it burns oil like none other. i've made it a habit to check oil level every time i get gas.
