Looking to pre-order a set for the GTI (18", 8.5" wide)... But can't find anything about if which one would poke or be flush...

    Opinions?

You'll poke a little with stock camber and height.

For your MK6, I'd go with the 45's. ET 35 will have you sitting around where Devin's Rotiforms are right outside the fender and unless you are running a super stretched tire and rolled/pulled fenders it might get ugly. Really all depends on the ride height as well.

I'm running 8.5 et31's in the front. it's not that bad of a poke... at all lol. i can imagine the back won't poke that much (assuming mkv's and mkvi's have similar fender styles)

The are very similar but the MK5s can get away with a little more.

Talked to JB, might do 8.5" +35 in the front... and 9.5 +45 in the rear.

Damn, never would have thought something 8.5 with that high of an offset would poke on a newer vw. I would automatically go with the higher offset choice unless the offset affects the look of the wheel a lot. With the higher offset option you can always space it out.

Big changes to between the MK4 and MK5 platform. The MK6 followed suit and they are very similar with 5mm+/- difference.
