All of the collections of each one of you are great. It was simply impossible for me to remove the eyes. The collections of VW vehicles, especially the car in which every door is open caught my attraction.

now that i have a Dremel Set, Im gonna do a bunch more cars. Been doing it since I was like 16 yrs old by opening the cars with a small nail and hammer and using a hack saw for modifying the height on cars without springs. Not many match box cars have the flat spring in em anymore![]()

I need some BBS look rims for my 1:43 Mk1 anyone have any handy?

Nothing on hand but "kit-Bashing" may be your only option in 1:43. It cand get pricey but that's one option.
Check ou the BBS RSs on the Alpine. (The tires are to big but in most cases those can be swapped out.)

The other option is Slot car accessories. I Couldn't find much for 1:43 but did find these in 1:35. Some might work for a 1:43 Mk1

A little quick mock-up on the beetle.
They are a little on the large side but might work once I roll the inner fender wheels. AKA grind them w/the dremmel tool.

Here is a work in progress. I am currently working on a cage to go in. Then maybe some decals.
Some other customs I did last year:

Found a Maisto Hauler w/a Dodge viper on it @ Ross for $5. The Viper had these wheels and I thought they were perfect for a wheel swap. I haven't decided what they will go on yet.
I have more possible swapees but my camera ran out of batteries so I'll have to do some more mock-ups tomorrow.

Too cold & snowy to be outside so I did a few more...
the silver Golf (welly) had some ugly chrome steelies
These Maisto got good treatment
BBS y0
RX7 looking better
I swapped out the Caddi wheels to the Chevy, there were much too large (truck size).
The wheels the Caddi has on are proportion to the scale size, but still looking for the same size but different wheel.
lowered this one
Stay tuned for Beetle, gonna lower it and wheel swap...plus...
