Its kinda old now, been in for a few months.

However its sad that with the newest BRAC cuts, the 65th with shutdown sometime this year, so this jet and all her sisters are scheduled to head to the boneyard soon.

Love that scheme! If I am ever to built another 1/72 F-15 (Hasegawa) that's how I'd paint mine.

    Cool, pretty accurate too.

I'm sure we could debate their effectiveness, but the Russians still have some nice paint schemes floating around.

No, heavy crew chiefs were short manned, so 700 fighter guys got moved over, basically I was told go to heavies, or there's the door, and me, I like getting a paycheck, that and I was almost at 8 years when it happened, so not gonna toss almost half a career away.

I work with a guy who was a C-17 crew chief...said they were raking in some serious overtime etc.

Well I think his unit was guard/reserve or something now (he's no longer active) so I think that's what he means --- basically they can get as much time as they want (and hence - pay?). He said they were awfully busy.

    Not sure how that works.

Oh an ARG Technician... GS pay during the week and E-/O- pay on the weekends while deployed. That'll do it. The best of both worlds.
