Thread: cylinder head shops?

    anyone know where i can take my diesel cylinder head i just want to see if its warped and new valves and stuff like that can anyone suggest a good machine shop to go too?

    Yor location would be nice. Theres a machine shop in Ontario where ive taken to get my cylinder head resurfaced.

    I'm also looking for a reputable diesel head shop, for some mild porting on an AAZ head.

    check out portflow in long beach. i got my head rebuilt by them. really good work and very reasonable. he has a flow bench and has lots of experience porting all kinds of heads.

    whats wrong with portflow? did you see his work?
    that shop is pro.

    Always like a 2nd opinion.
    I trying to install Mercedes diesel pre-cups instead of VW diesel precups on a VW AAZ hydro head.

    I'm gonna call them and see if I can get them to modify an AAZ head to accept Benz diesel precups. No more loose precups for me, gentlemen.
