I was wondering if this happened to anyone else

Hey guys, I was wondering if this happened to anyone else, and if anyone could help me solve this problem.

I came home from work and proceeded to start the car. Its been having problems starting and would only do it if you pressed on the gas some. When it came on the engine wouldn't rev up and it seemed to be stuck at an idle. When I called a friend to help, he said to reset the ECU because the throttle body might be going bad. Well to my surpise the car started. After I replaced the TB with another I picked up, the car wouldnt start but everything else like the starter and such seemed fine.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice so I can get my motor going again?

have you tried putting the old TB back on and see if it will start that way?
The TB you picked up could be bad, unless you grabbed a new one? do you have VAG-COM or know of anyone with VAG-COM? maybe they can come scan your car and see whats happening..
do you have any CEL's?

it is possible the pedal could be bad as well.. but your kind of shooting in the dark without codes of any sort...

have you attempted to clean the Tb?? like take apart and clean??

once you pull a TB off or clean one you need to Re-align the TB with VAG.. not saying this is your problem.. but it should be done when anything is done to the TB

I'll start by cleaning the old TB and see how that goes.
But I did find this hose but I don't know what it goes too. The picture was after I assumed where it should have gone but I'm not sure. The second shot is the other end of the hose

hmmmmm I am not sure, let me go look @ my car and see if I can give you an idea..

is your PCV hose now another hose?? lol
what size did you use there?? I need to pick some up and have been to lazy to figure it out.. lol

but it looks like you have it running right, it should come out of the T and head to where the PCV hose. right where your new hose is meeting what looks like a rubber fitting, then to the other PCV hose that runs to the intake pipe...

As an update: I reconnected that line, and I bought a new battery as the old one was completely dead. But it still won't start :\

Is there a DIY on how to check the fuel line? I wanna look at the fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator but I don't have a clue on how
