I start at the little trays that pop out. If your not going to use a panel removal tool, just be careful. Nothing to worry about but don't pull too hard. If you open the trays, you can push up on the little faceplate. Then, push both back in and pull off the surround around the hazard button. Next, push against the trays and pull down on the radio surround. Don't unplug the passenger airbag harness unless battery is off. You can actually remove that entire light very easily if your careful. Pop up the top around the radio and run your hands down the side. After that's off, you should be able to get the one around the A/C controls off easily. After that, down to the coin holder/ashtray. Pull out the insert and un-screw the screws. I couldn't figure out how to remove the cover so I just took the entire thing out by unscrewing the screws. Unplug the power outlet/cigarette lighter. Before you take that out, you have to pop up the shifter surround. Just pull back on that w/ the coin holder door open. Then pop out the chrome shift bezel out and your done. Once again, don't unplug random harnesses unless battery is off. All of the upper dash trim pieces just pop off. Use a flat head screwdriver that you've wrapped in something (a towel, electrical tape, etc.) so it doesn't scratch the dash. If you want to remove the parts on the doors, they all just pry off. Easier than it sounds. Maybe 20 min job for all the pieces (to remove). I'd recommend vinyl wrapping over painting though; you can always peel vinyl off![]()

It was just an example, no need to talk trash about my work. It's pretty obvious that it's not perfect. And personally, since we're criticizing, I don't think that much silver carbon fiber looks good, does carbon fiber even come in silver?! I took mine off because it didn't look real at all, the finish and feel is off completely and re-did it in a brushed aluminum vinyl, which looks like brushed aluminum.
