    OEM roof bars question

    Can the black rubber strip be re-ordered on the OEM roof bars (Mk6 wagon)?
    It's the one that goes on top of the channel and cover it up (grove?)
    If yes, what's the part # and how much $$?

    If the dealer can't get them, Rack Attack sells replacements parts which will fit.

    this.

    the bar is made by thule.
    the aero bars have the same black rubber strip.
    people cut them to mount different rack components.
    some fit in the track, some wrap around the bar.
