    That really sucks. I feel bad for his family and friends. For selfish reasons, it sucks that we won't get any more Beastie Boy albums or concerts.

    I am truly saddened by his passing, this is the only band that i have stuck with. After 26+ years of being a fan I can't imagine the futur w/o any other album to look forward to and one of my bucket list thing to do will never come to fruition..see the beastie boys play at MSG

    i only saw them perform one time at Philly's famous Trocadero Theater on their 'Check Your Head' tour ('93??)
    best damn show ever! i was pleasantly surprised with their musical abilities--half the concert was rap and half was live music.i had a blast
