Since we're in the CRX mood here in vortex, what do you think is the 'ultimate' CRX ?
I think it is the ultra rare JDM 'Exclusive' model with the rare beige lether interior and Glass roof !

Before the birth of the SiR, Honda had two CRX models in Japan, the 1.5X and the Si.
Based on these two models, they came up with 7 other “spin-off” models (talk about
variety). The rarest one, at that time with only 350 built units, was the 1989 “EXCLUSIVE”.
It was based on the Si platform and came stock with the following items:

    -ABS
    -Glass Roof
    -Power Windows
    -Power Steering
    -Power Mirrors
-Custom Interior (Beige colour, I think Honda called it “Camel”)
    -Full Leather seating door cars
    -Leather wrapped steering wheel
    -Map lights
    -Auto-AirCon (Climate Control)
-Super Sound System (double-Din head unit, bass tubes, etc.)
-Chromed interior door handles, glovebox button
    -White corner lenses
-A few other little “bells & whistles”

Nothing says exclusive like a Doberman Pinscher.

Otherwise, that looks really nice for a CRX; exclusive even.
My legend dates back to the 12th Century you see. My legend is quite old. The 12th Century was a long time ago. It was summer and so cold from the snow because it was actually winter or maybe it was Monday. It could have been a Thursday or possibly a Saturday or was it Tuesday though it could have been Wednesday or a Monday.

The color combo on the car and dog is the same. Coincidence? I think not!

    God that backseat is priceless...

Good looking interior from the front seats forward, though.

That is a nice interior for 1989. The car is awesome.

Was the black and camel the only color combo? Do you know?

Man, I'm honestly thinking of selling my hatchback to snag a CRX. I want one more and more as of late.

My first car was actually a zc powered rhd conversion I did with a front clip "cyber" cr-x it came with a glass top as well, but I didn't get the whole car... I do love this one...in fact it has the zc motor. You can tell because the zc motors need that little bump on the hood to clear the timing belt cover.

That's probably actually the nicest CRX i've ever seen. The glass roof and beige leather are sweet.

I like the K9 alarm system. Probably the best anti-theft device Honda's ever used.

So, Honda used to be able to design cars?

Someone forward this post to John Mendel and Ito.

What's the power bump on the hood for? Did all the Si(s) have those?

CRXs were cool because they were lightweight nimble cars.
I respect the rarity of this Exclusive model, but there is nothing that says slower and worse handling than a heavy glass roof on a light car (see Mini Cooper).
