modification ideas for my 2007 jetta wolfsburg??

Right now it's just everything stock with a spoiler.
I want to do some stuff to make it a little different but nothing to outrageous... ideas??
So far I want some LED drl strips on the grill, similar to mercedes... or I was thinking halo drl like this...
My only worry is that i dont have a huge budget, and it seems the halos are probably wayy more expensive than the strips that I can install myself...

ive heard the automotive isle at walmart has many budget friendly modifications you can glue to your car.
