If you can afford a grand~ then you can save up another 150 and get the B&Gs... It pays to get some of the best.

So B&G over H&R and KW?

I recently decided to go with the ST's. Im very happy with them definitely worth the $700... I had a set of koni's and loved them on my MK2, but honestly I didn't feel like spending over $1k on a set of coils again. I did a a lot of research and the ST's seemed to be the best deal. they are the exact replica's of the KW Variant 1's but zinc plated rather than stainless and come with a 5 year warrantee rather than a lifetime with the KW's. In my opinion they feel just as good as the Koni's, just a fraction of the price

How is the ride? better than stock? or about the same as stock?

A tad stiffer than stock, not bouncy at all though. Its not an aggressive set up, but if your using your car as a daily on NJ roads and want to lower your car without sacrificing ride quality, its defiantly a perfect set up IMO.

I put in some ST's a few weeks ago and i'm very happy with them, especially with the price/quality.

I had fk's on my mk3 jetta loved those because they were fully adjustable, I had fk's on my 20th when I got it and they were too stiff for me one of my struts ended up leaking so I threw some raceland ultimos on it and they ride pretty nice. My husband just put st's on his s4 avant and they ride awesome! I would say skip the fk's but that's just my preference.
