Was installing led license plate lights and they turned on for a second then shut off, I began trying to switch them around and do whatever I could but still wouldn't light up even put the stock ones in again and they wouldn't work, anyone have any ideas?

    Probably blew the fuse.

Make sure you're using the correct LED lights for the application.

I ordered them from performanceleds for an mkiv so, and I checked a couple of fuses they were fine and all other lights work fine, doubt license plate lights have thier own fuse.

They do have their own fuse...location 4.

Make sure you try swapping poles because they only work one way from what I recall.
