Does anyone know if there is green coolant that is equivalent to G12?
I think I got ripped by our local stealership, but need to make sure.
2000 Cabrio specs call for G12, which as far as I know is pink. When my daughter bought it a couple months ago, the stealership talked her into a coolant system flush.
Last week it threw a P1296 code (temperature sensor or thermostat) so I decided to replace both this weekend. To my surprise, when I drained the coolant, it was green.
Before I go and make a stink at the dealer, I want to make sure there's no such thing as green G12.

If this flush was done at the VW dealer, make a stink. Volkswagen's G12 is supposed to be pink (actually, red) or purple:
