Thread: Safe interior cleaning products???

What cleaning solutions are you guys using for the dash, seats, ect? The dust is beginning to build up on my 2 month old JSW and I'm reluctant to use just anything on it.

In the past I've used 303 and it works well. I'm thinking of going to just plain damp rag now. I know they say it's not good to put cleaners on the soft touch plastics.

    i only use this..
    http://www.detailersdomain.com/1Z-ei...mium_p_70.html

leaves no residue or shiny crap.. cleans the touchscreen and everything perfectly.
i use it on everything inside the car... the seats, panels, screen, rear shade. everything but the glass.

Thanks for the recommendation! I hate the shiny stuff...with the sun here it is straight-up blinding!

I also use the 1z cockpit cleaner. It's the best and I know you won't be disappointed.

I know the 1z stuff is good.. I use Griot's Interior Cleaner. It's also useful on everything, completely safe, no strong smells.. useful on leather, cloth, vinyl, plastic, etc. And of course it won't stain or cause cracking like certain other products. I've been using it for years now, and everyone I know who's used it swears by it.

combine it with some good microfibers that won't scratch, but aren't so soft that it's tough scrub with:

I have been using this on the JSW:

It gives no shine and lifts up dirt and grease like crazy.

Plus, its safe on everything and smells great (At least to me)

Lexol on the other cars with leather.
