Thread: Western Road Trip, I have some questions

  1. 05-06-2012 12:50 PM #1
My family and I are flying then renting a car out of Denver to see the National Parks and the Rockies. This is going to be a mix of camping and hotel rooms. Duration is just under 2 weeks. Fair number of miles as we want to see quite a bit in that period of time.

I am looking for ideas on what might be an appropriate vehicle to rent. We are (grrrr.) going to have a lot of camping related gear for four people. Also anyone have a fav rental company out of Denver? I realize that when you actually go to pick up your vehicle you are often given "something else" because the class you reserved are all out with other customers.

    Thanks!

It shouldn't be difficult to get a big SUV or minivan in Denver.
