Mud Flaps on my SEL

ok, let me explain this.. i own a 2011 evo along with my jetta and i must say that the mud flaps from rally armor have worked better than any plastic mud flap i have seen. my dealer wants to charge 140.00 for the plastic mud flaps and im saying no way. i contacted rally armor and had them send me some custom mud flaps.. (i had to drill the holes and everything since they dont have the mud flaps for the euro cars)

i do a lot of urban exploration and do travel on back roads and stuff. so i figured it was best to get them since it protects the car better..

i want opinions whether it looks good or not. and if you do like them, they do them in custom designs and different colors









i also plan on swapping my rims out and droping my car 2.5 inches in the front and rear, so it will look completely different soon

Not a fan of any type of mudflap, but as long as they serve their purpose, more power to ya! I install about 20 sets of Jetta mudflaps a month, so if I were to go with anything, it would be the form fitted VW ones.

I have the Volkswagen ones.. I know they were expensive.. But I like the look of the stock VW ones better. Those look like they should belong on an evo or sti.. Which is usually what they're on. The down side to the stock ones is that they scrape easily over bumps if I have people in the back or a really steep hill. Idk what kind of exploring you do but I hate when they scrape.

Nice looking Jetta,mudflaps spoil it IMHO.

Why change the wheels,they look so good ???

I used to have them on my STi, wonder how they would look on my GLI. I bought the stock VW guards, but the need to be modded to fit the GLI.

im going 18x8's.. and i also love the wider look it makes the car have

unfortunately the horrible part is i need to do a wheel adapter from the 5x120 to 5x114.3 :/..

but when i do get the new rims, these wheels will be for sale
