Thread: How do I sync with Itunes on 2 different computers for 2 different sets of files? (Iphone4)

    Hey guys,

So I just uploaded my playlists to my Iphone4 and have boxed up the computer from which I synced for the summer, since ill be working across the country for the next several months. However, there are a few other movie and music files I would like to download to my phone from my other computer. How can I do this without losing all my data from my previous sync with my now boxed up computer?

    Thanks in advance.

    Boxed up, eh?

Your best bet is to authorize both computers and share the libraries via iTunes. The current build allows up to 5 machines.

Otherwise, you can rip the files from your iPod with one of the many freeware or low-cost options. I have an ancient $4.99 download of Tune Tools which I originally used on Win98 and still works.
