Looking to buy a VW for less than $3,000 in CT

I'm trying to find a volkswagen for myself.

preferably automatic
gti, passat, or beetle 1998-2004
jetta 1999-2004 (not box shaped)
less than 160,000K

I'm located in CT and can't go too far to look at a car, and am having a hard time finding one on here.
