    so CEL came on a few weeks ago as it does here and there so got it scanned today and it said "cooling system to lean" anyone ever hear of this could it just be the mods throwing the light. car is tuned so i thought cel wasn't suppose to come on and no mods to the cooling system beside cold air intake thanks guys..

    Do you have the fault code #? I've found that when I get fault codes ross-tech's page normally has something on it. If you do have it, post it and I'm sure another member will help. You could also google your code with ross-tech included in search.

    I don't think the cooling system can be too lean. Code number would be very helpful.
    My guess is it said System too lean and it is a P0171 code. Could well be caused by your CAI since they sometimes don't get the part for the MAF sensor right, which leads to wrong readings.

    thats exactly waht it was that code.. so is it anything bad ??

    You could have a bad MAF, I was getting the same code when I installed the Forge WINTake. Buy a can of MAF cleaner from your local parts store and clean the MAF. I would at least start there and see if the code comes back.

    Check your PCV as well...my car threw that code when my PCV went...it has an extended warranty from the dealer until 120k I believe

    ok thanks alot guys ill let u know.. so when u did the MAF cleaner the cel went away?
