    just bought a used car with a fob that doesnt work. I was told i need the skc number and release date to program the fob with vagcom. Pickering VW service guy said hes never done this before and doesnt even know how to.

    Looking for someone that works at a dealership who can help me out. I can show you the registration of the vehicle as proof of ownership.

    SKC not needed for remote programming, only for key itself.

    well i tried using vagcom and followed the rosstech site. The car honks once when i hit the unlock button in the ignition during programming. But doesnt work afters.
