Hey guys, don't really want to but have to sell my MKII. I Bought the car late last summer as a single man wanting something to work on, but since my relationship status has changed I am basically forced to sell my project and place my focus elsewhere, meaning on my girl.

I purchased the with the ABA swap already done to it by the previous owner. The very next day after purchasing it I took it over to the guys at Pacific German who performed a very thorough examination of the cars chassis and engine. Sean quoted me a #, I left the car at the shop and 5 days later I had all the chassis problems gone. I wasted little time and got the majority of what I could fix fixed, upgraded or tuned up either by Pacific German guys or under their direct supervision.

Here is a list of what was directly replaced or done by me:

    - new temp sensor
    - new 02 sensor
    - new drivers side control arm
    - new control arm bushings
    - new drivers side axle
    - new tie rod assembly (both)
    - new ball joints
    - new rear bearings
    - new strut mount bearings
    - new engine & transmission mounts
    - new in-tank fuel pump
    - new fuel filter
    - new spark plugs
    - new distributor cap w/wires
    - new shifter kit assembly

    These are the performance upgrades:

    - ABA motor swap 1.8L top and a 2.0L bottom (6k miles) runs flawless
    - Techtonics Adjustable cam sprocket
    - Techtonics 268 cam
    - Techtonics 2.25 catback exhaust w/dynomax muffler
    - Autotech Front drilled and slotted rotors w/pads
    - Billstein performance shocks w/H&R springs
    - ABD short shifter kit

Once all the mechanicals were done I began to put together a plan that would include a total body overhaul. Body, paint, interior panels, insulation, electrical, everything and anything that came with the previous owner was going to eventually be replaced.

Unfortunately for the car a girl came into my life and put everything on indefinite hold. The car has been kept in an underground garage for the entire time it has been with me.

My ideal buyer would be someone who understands what these cars require and have the energy along with finances to see this project through.

The car is smogged and registered in California!

    PM with any additional questions.
