Of course they can restore a decent one for under $30,000...

For sure 30k is enough. If the starting car is clean enough.
HEHE I missed Pete talking trash.![]()
??? DAFUQ Did I just Read? Try English if you want to try and talk to people.
Yes, Something is Crazy. You. You have a screw loose. Are a few bricks shy of a load. Not the Brightest crayon in the box, not the sharpest knife in the drawer. About as useful as a Screen door in a Submarine.
No apologies, I just cant wait to see you at a West Coast Show one day.......if you even leave your house. Weirdo.
I will second that, you Quote yourself more than anyone and it is even more annoying to see you quoting yourself, then talking to yourself.
I used to think the fake elitist rich kid who talks about his own car in everyone elses thread was bad, but you sir have taken the cake of douche canoeing.
I CANT F***ING WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY DO WITH THIS CAR!

restoration includes building of the vr6? that may be slightly pricey. 5g's?

Meth sucks. Grab a toothbrush and work on your car. Give the keys a break. It's Friday somewhere.

Yeah, what happened to this, did they part it already?

"It's taken some time to find the perfect cars for the project, but we searched for the most solid cars to begin the awesome transformations.
We're starting with a 2-door 1971 Volvo P1800 from western-Ontario. We're going to make extreme changes to the current gold and black exterior and customize the car inside and out! It's traveling to Shediac, New Brunswick for it's transformation at Henry's Auto Body.
We also have a 1994 Volkswagen Corrado from central-Ontario, a black-on-black mid-nineties hatchback that will get a complete overhaul! It's complete transformation will take place at Boot Hill Auto in Erin, Ontario.
This is only where we're starting. Check back tomorrow to see the unveiling of both renderings done by the renowned Matthew Law!"

Well they are butchering it already, here is the rendering:
Please someone go intervene and tell them how to properly modify or RESTORE a Corrado.
#404
The more I see the rendering the more I wish the Corrado hadn't won.

I've seen worse I suppose. I just dislike that color, and matte finish altogether for that matter.

How about some baller chrome washer nozzles with lights in them and a half-dozen port holes on the fenders![]()

i honestly like the paint job but im also putting a 6" exhaust stack on my rabbit caddy diesel.
so i guess my taste is a little different.

Ahh gotta love vortex, the place where nothing is ever good enough to anyones standards unless it was done by one of the forum role models...
Funny how the rendering is basically this car who by popular vote was an awesome car and now its fugly/ruining the car because an outside source is doing the build... Awesome

I kinda like the colour too (flame suit on)
#415
+1 on the color, but they do need to change the wheels in my opinion.
#416
#417
Paint is okay... wheels are ugly. Its just not a "restoration" like they claimed it was.
#418
I think paint is hideous but then again, some lucky **** is going to own a 94

Lucky dude got a really good base car to start with. 94 Canadian VR w/ recaro seats. I really, really hope the shop's resto work mods it up to a tribute car instead of bastardized homogenization of shiny eBay parts.

This is complete and utter BS we basically voted that a mint example be given a death sentence. The title implied that they'll be saving a run down pos and bringing it back to life, in which case I could care less what they did with it. If this joke of a project was advertised correctly, I'd have voted for those other cars instead![]()
