At least for that price you are getting nice metal latches- the '99+ is about the same price for plastic. Which part is broken on yours? I have a '93 latch out in the garage that I bought when I thought they were the same.

Is it really 50+ dollars per side to fix! Seems a bit crazy. Any Alternatives?

That sounds about right for the "repair" kit the dealer sells. I made a similar thread a few years ago when I bought the 2 for my van. I think it was $48 a side. All the kit is is a metal pin & some plastic trim pieces. I STILL haven't put them in to this day....lol
