I am not even that old, but this whole stance thing is foreign to me. I actually (generally) don't mind the look, but what the hell does Hellaflush mean? What is flush with what?

It means the stretched tire is flush with the fender. Hella is just a stupid term created by norcals.

It means a full change of blinker fluid - only necessary for the already overpriced Hella bulbs.

The tread is flush, and the angle of the sidewall follows the angle of the flare to make a continuous line from flare to rim in most cases. OF course, with any fad, there are guys taking it to extremes and going overboard, but that's the basis of it.
I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.
