Thread: Question on Audi cylinder head on VW engine?

  1. 05-07-2012 09:37 AM #1
Would anyone know of any multi-valve Audi cylinder heads that would be bolt-on to a Volkswagen 1.8L engine block? I thought I read somewhere that you could get a 20V Audi head to work, but I can't find any info on it now. The VW engine I'm looking to add the Audi head on is EA827 1.8L. Don't have the code in front of me, but can get if needed. I don't want a crazy build on my hands, so if this can't be done bolt-on I don't want to try it. Any info on this would be great. Thank you in advance for the help.

It will bolt on. But require custom pistons.

Easier to buy a whole engine and install the lot, the world of VAG is your oyster as far as options go.
