Angel eye Dimension

Does anyone know the MM dimension for 09 Jetta? Looking to install angel eyes, but I can't seem to figure out the MM of the lenses. I know I could just pull the headlight apart to figure it out, but I wanted to see if anyone knew the dimension. For both hi and low beams. Thanks

Angel eyes barely look good on BMW's. They definitely don't look good on volkswagens.

Then do it. I agree with bryangb i don't think you'll actually go through with it, but i don't mind being proved wrong. My question is why? "Angel Eyes" is a signature BMW styling cue and your car is not. Why copy makes and models style, like all the people putting led strips in their headlights to look like an Audi, pointless. That's so annoying, but maybe that's just me. Embrace your MKV and don't make is a wannabe bimmer

oh I'm going to do it! I just don't want to pull the headlight apart to figure out the MM, put the headlight back together wait for the parts to come and then have to pull the headlight apart again. But, I guess I'll have to do it, because nobody here can seem to give a answer to the question... Instead, they have to put in their two sense. Like I said above IT"S MY CAR, if you don't like it keep it to yourself, nobody is going to talk me out of it!

I'm sure you could just go on eBay and get some drop in / plug and play angel eye headlights for like $19.99

I found drop in's for $45, but you need to the MM dimensions to order. I don't want to order the wrong set, hence why I asked the mm dimensions for hi and low beams. I could just order the whole headlight assembly for $350, but I really don't want to do that If I could do it myself for $45.

Honestly man, you're going to regret this. You're going to pull apart your headlights to glue in some light rings? Search around for the Joey mod for our headlights -- they are a pain in the ass to get apart. There are far better things to drop that $45 on if it's burning a hole in your pocket. Why not apply that $45 toward an oem fog light retrofit or something?

FUK it.. I say do it. I personally dont like the stock jetta headlights anyway. so since you have no bi-xenons, I dont see how much worse they can get..

Sorry it took me so long to put images up for you guys, but I actually bought the whole headlight assembly for $250. I took a picture at night a a picture during the day of just the headlight. But I like the way it looks. I'll have to post better pictures when I get around to it of the whole car.
