Anyone know where I can get the little plastic caps that go over the screw openings on the upper ends of the grill? Tried the dealership and they gave me the wrong part # and told me another dealer in NY had them. I called them and had them ship them to me only to find out it was the wrong part. I think I will go back to my local dealer and stuff them down the parts guy's throat!!

    Any help would be appreciated.

The only caps I find in ETKA are for the corner screws:
    155853125
    155853126

If you are wanting to cover these screws, head to Ace Hardware and get some generic screw caps.

Kamz, those are the part #'s I used and got some sort of cap with two wins on it. I thought there was a cap that went over the opening once you put the screw in and tightened it up. A cap that sits flush with the front of the grill. The hole is recessed for the screw to counter-sync into at the corners of the grill. I thought for sure there was a cap to cover the hole...

All the catalog shows is this, with those aforementioned part numbers:

I'll have to defer to other Clipper owners for specifics on what the caps actually look like.

Actually, these caps go on the grill. Nothing to do with the clipper kit. Just a plastic cap or cover that goes over the hole at each corner of the grill. I am sure my other 93 had them because I remember having to pop them out to take the grill off to change a headlight.

Well aware... but those grilles are/were standard equipment on the '88+ Clipper-era Cabs. I've got a pre-Clipper '86 with the (better ) single-round, 3-piece grille. Ergo, my previous comment because saying "Clipper owners" is less annoying than "1988-1993 Cabriolet owners".

So does anyone have access to ETKA so I can get the part number for #11 in that diagram? I am looking for an ETKA site, but the Vagkat site does not allow me to the parts list anymore.

Okay, so I have the part number, but I have had no luck at all finding them for sale any where. If anyone can help me locate them, I would appreciate it.

Part number is 155853125 and I will need two of them. Thanks everyone.

The part numbers I listed way back when are for #11:
155853125 is the left one, 155853126 is the right one.

Kamz, I do not know what the heck is going on now. I checked the bag I received from the New Jersey dealership, and it does have that part # on it, but it isn't even close to the right part...and all I did was go around full circle to the part # you already had for me. This is crazy.

    Briano,
I tried them and called them, they cannot get any. A company in Russia can get them, but it is $50 to ship them. Haha. I will snap a pic tomorrow Kamz.

Well if you are good at fabricating, then just get a piece of Dowel, Plastic or wood and cut, whittle, shave it to fit. A dab of paint and presto.

But to be honest, You can't see the holes with a grille spoiler on. As a matter of fact you have to remove it to replace the light bulbs as you can't get to the screw holes.

I wouldn't trust the Russia sites there is to much interweb fraud from that side of the globe.

Kamz, apparently, the dealership put the wrong parts in the bag, #8E0819851. So I have a couple of speed nuts instead of my caps. They are paying to ship them back and refunding me my money. They said they had 6 sets of the caps, but the inventory was wrong. Big surprise. Oh well, no harm done. They were super nice and apologetic about it. Got a lead on someone who says they have some, just waiting to hear back.

Well, at least the mystery has been solved.

Happened to me once: Ordered the center vent servo, got the footwell vent servo instead. Figured I might need it someday, so I just kept it and re-ordered the proper part from a different dealer.
