hey im building a stroker right now and considering sourcing a AEB head. i found a 97 a4 with head damage i can buy for pretty cheap and then got a idea.

take the AEB head from the a4 and switch it out with my TT's AMU smallport along with the manifolds and KO4. The gain here is i get a AEB for my stroker TT and I also have a rebuilt A4 with the 225 TT characteristics, low end torque and more power with ko4.

These are the issues i know of, but if you know more please chime in:
head bolt size on AMU head, there made for m10 but i need m11 i believe, do i have to bore out?
is the ko4 and manifold a different mounted position, meaning i cant hook exhaust up?
I also realize i need a tune to take advantage of the ko4.

You will need to bore the head to fit the m11s.

As for the turbo, the mounting position and exit of the turbo is going to be all wrong and you will have issues with it. In all honesty your better off selling the ko4-02x along with the manifold, lines, and injectors for like 700-800 and going FT on the A4. Less headaches, same power, easier build.

    bolt the turbo on backwards?
the exit would then be facing the front so that wouldnt work

the ko4 exhaust would face the front if you bolted it on normally. but anyways it would probably be to much of a hassle
