Looking to trade my Subaru for a decent MK2 Golf or GTI. Really not looking for a Jetta, but if a nice one is offered, I'll consider it. I've just had a crap ton of Jettas and really want to get back in a hatch.

It's a 1998 Legacy Outback Wagon. It has 253,514 miles on it currently, but it's my daily, so that number will climb. I bought it off an older guy in Allentown who drove it to Jersey on 78 every day to work, so all high way miles. He had just had the timing belt and related components replaced before he sold it. Don't let the miles fool you. This is the nicest Subie I've ever owned or driven. Very clean and well maintained.

I just serviced it a few days ago. Changed the oil, air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve and rotated the tires. It has almost brand new snow tires on stock alloy wheels. It's fully loaded, and also has the winter package, and leather seats. I also just replaced the fuel filler neck. It had started to leak due to rust.

There is 0.0% rust anywhere else on this car, a rarity for a Subaru. The body is in good shape, but it does have a few dings here and there. Paint is in awesome shape, and really cleans up well. The interior is in nice shape as well, but the drivers seat has some noticable wear on it. Stock stereo. Stock everything actually, except for window tint, which was done professionally by the previous owner (have receipts for the tint job). It has a tow hitch, and is wired accordingly.

It's an awesome car, and runs and drives great. Does good on gas as well for being AWD. Absolute beast in the snow. It's unstoppable.

    The Bad:
Driver's side heated seat does not work.
Might need a front axle in the future. I hear it clicking faintly when I take a sharp corner. I have one bought and ready to go in the car, and it might be done soon if I can find the time to do it.

Now for some pics. I'm asking $2,500 or best offer, or trade for a MK2. Need it gone ASAP.
